Self Introduction
Originally from Japan, Grace’s upbringing was a fusion of San Diego and Tokyo, immersing her in both English and Japanese cultures. She graduated from Keio University SFC and launched her career as a professional dancer and choreographer in Tokyo. In 2006, she made the leap to Los Angeles, and by 2013, she had already begun her journey with the international production, Mt. MELVIL. Since then, she has curated an impressive series of projects for renowned brands like Toyota, Lexus, Shiseido, and Uniqlo, earning prestigious awards such as Cannes Lion and AD&D. In addition to branded content, she has developed and produced unscripted projects like Finding Satoshi, which received the esteemed Galaxy Award in Japan and several other international documentary accolades. Now an independent producer, she continues to pursue her career in content production, particularly focusing on Japanese IP adaptations. Her unique blend of experience in US production, the network in Japan cultivated over the years, and passion for Japanese IP, especially manga, fuels her creative endeavors.
