Dream Plus Co. Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company” or “We” or “Us” or “Our”) shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”) and establishes and respect the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the treatment of personal information of the User (hereinafter “You” or “Your”) obtained in the course of providing services offered under the name of “KUMI” (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”).

Article 1 (Personal information To Be Obtained)

We obtain Your personal information in relation to the provision of the Services, in addition to the information listed below. If You do not provide the information that We have separately indicated as mandatory in the input forms, You may not enjoy all or part of Our Services.

  • Name, age, birthday and sex;

  • Electronic email address, telephone number and any other contact information;
  • Background; 
  • Login ID and password for Our Services;
  • Payment information, including contracts or progress on payments for the Services; and
  • Information updated or otherwise made available by members on the Services.

Article 2 (Usage Purpose of Personal Information)

  1. We will use Your personal information for the following purposes. We will not use the personal information beyond the following purposes, except with the consent of the User.
  2. Purposes of the performance of contracts for the provision of services
  3. Operating and maintaining the Services;
  4. Contacting and responding to inquires relating to Our Services;

  21. personal information indirectly acquired from members;

  23. information uploaded on social media.

The personal information that We obtain may include information on gender, health, family origin, legal residence, nationality, and so on (hereinafter collectively referred as “sensitive information”). We shall only acquire, use and provide sensitive information to third parties with the prior consent of the User or otherwise within the scope permitted by law.

Article 3 (Cookies)

  1. Our website uses cookies. The cookies is a string of information provided each time that You visit a website, which is stored on the website visitor’s computer and it enables the website or server to identify each User’s individual browser. By using cookies, the information and advertisement on Our websites can be optimized for each individual User.
  2. The User can, at any time, prevent the setting of cookies by means of the setting of the internet browser that You use. The User can also, at any time, delete cookies that You have already set, via the internet browser or another software program. Article 4 (Provision and Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties)

  1. We shall not provide personal information obtained from Our User to third parties without the prior consent of the User, except as provided for in this Article. However, this shall not apply in the following cases:
  2. If the User violate the Terms and Conditions and it is necessary for Us to protect Our rights, property or services;
  3. Where it is necessary for the protection of the life, body or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the User;
  4. Where Our business, including the Services, is taken over due to a merger, demerger, transfer of business or any other reason; or
  5. In addition to the preceding items, disclosure is permitted in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

While the Services has a function to disclose the personal information of registered members to third parties, including persons residing outside Japanese territory, members shall register their personal information and use this function with the understanding that such information will be viewed by a large number of unspecified persons. Article 5 (Management of Personal Information)

In order to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information, We manage personal information safely, strive to ensure and improve security, and take reasonable corrective measures against these risks.

Article 6 (Disclosure, Correction and Suspension of Personal Information)

If an User exercises his or her rights to personal information, including the rights listed in the following items, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations relating to personal data protection, We respond to the User without delay after deciding whether the exercise of such rights is justified. This does not apply in cases where We are not obliged to respond in accordance with applicable law.

  • The right to disclose the User’s personal information treated by Us;
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • In certain cases, the right to obtain the deletion of personal information concerning the User;
  • In certain cases, the right to limit the processing of personal information restricted;
  • In certain cases, the right to object to the processing of personal information relating to the User;
  • In certain cases, the right to receive personal information relating to the User in a structured, generally usable and machine-readable format, as well as the right to transfer such information to another controller without Our hindrance; and
  • The right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated data processing (e.g. profiling) that have legally-binding effects or similarly significant consequences for the User concerned.

Article 7 (Acquisition of Information by Third Parties)

  1. The Policy will not apply when businesses other than Us acquire the personal information of the User in websites and other services provided by third parties that are available via the Services.
  2. The Policy will not apply when We receive personal information directly between members or between contracted companies in using the Services.
  3. In addition to the cases set out in the preceding two paragraphs, We will not be held responsible for the treatments of personal information by third parties other than Us.

Article 8 (Retention Period)

We strive to delete without delay the personal information concerned when the personal information of the User is no longer necessary in light of the usage purpose, nature, and retention of legal or business need.

Article 10 (Revision of this Policy)
