Writers and screenwriters both create stories, but they use different methods of expression. Writers write stories using written expressions, while screenwriters use visual descriptions to write stories. A screenwriter’s job is to write scripts (scenarios) for movies, TV dramas, plays, etc., and they create the framework of the work based on the plans proposed by the producer. Scripts have the characteristic of being written to be turned into a film, and screenwriters have the job of thinking up a story from scratch and the job of converting a novel into a screenplay.
